ABOUT
Founded in 2015, the non-profit MIC Missionary Historical Memory Virtual Center’s mission is to ensure the protection over time, dissemination and accessibility of the written press of the Institute of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, from 1920 to the present day. In this way, the historical missionary heritage of Le Précurseur (French version) and MIC Mission News (English version) will be highlighted on this website, perpetuating the memory of this religious community of women of Canadian origin, using the technological resources of our era. Here, as elsewhere, the pages of some 1012 issues of the magazines will bear witness to their influence and social contribution, since 1902.
